Peanut sherbet is an "Eastern relative of halva": sweet, dense, crumbly, and filled with peanuts. The word "sherbet" historically meant a sweet drink (syrup/infusion) in the East. In Europe and the post-Soviet space, the name "sherbet/sorbet" eventually "moved" to the nut-based dessert

How to eat it:

• With tea (especially black, strong): sherbet is very sweet, and tea provides balance

• With coffee (espresso/Americano): works as a "coffee candy," but better in small portions

• With fermented milk products: kefir/ayran/ryazhenka/natural yogurt - cuts the sweetness and fat content beautifully

• With ice cream: crumble sherbet on top as a topping (instead of caramel/nut crumbles)

• With acidic fruits: apple, kiwi, citrus, berries - again, a balance of sweetness

• As an "energy snack": a small slice before a trip/after exercise, when you need a quick calorie boost (but don't overdo it)

How to serve:

• Cut into thin slices 1–1.5 cm See, so it looks like "fudge"

• Serve unsweetened tea/coffee and a cup of kefir/ayran nearby as a "secret sauce" against the sweetness
